Rising young artist Ryan Trey is back with another with a smooth single, titled ‘Slide’. This track sees the musician once again use his sing-rap sound to provide us with a track, which is extremely pleasing to the ears, due to his deep tone, which glides on the track effortlessly. Ryan Trey is able to display the influence Bryson Tiller has made on his music through his sound, whilst still making himself distinguishable. This is seen throughout this track as he speaks about, how he is sliding to a motive to hang out with a girl he is interested in. Ryan Trey has come a long way from his soundcloud days, only improving overtime. With him still being extremely fresh in the game, we cannot wait to see how he will continue to develop.
